Lake Las Vegas offers a wealth of exciting adventures all at or within a short distance from CEIC2008. You can enjoy the activities featured at the resort such as golf and gambling, take in the picturesque Lake Las Vegas and surrounding Lake Mead, tour nearby Hoover Dam, or grab a cab to the Las Vegas Strip.

If you are thinking of extending your CEIC visit into a family vacation, we have good news. The resort features extensive supervised children's activities, and the newly renovated Spa Moulay with luxuries worthy of a sultan.

Conference Location

All labs, lectures and other speaking events will be held in the Loews Lake Las Vegas Resort.

Getting There

Lake Las Vegas is located approximately 30 minutes or 22 miles east of the McCarran International Airport. Directions

• Rental car agencies are located inside McCarran Airport
• Taxi fares run about $45 from the airport
  to Lake Las Vegas
• Prearranged hired limousine/sedan services will meet and greet you at baggage claim, help you with your luggage and bring you to the resort. This typically runs $45-$60..

Once at the resort, there is a regularly scheduled complimentary trolley and water taxi service. This allows you to get to the golf course facilities, restaurants, other hotels and the Southshore Marina. If you take advantage of any of our adventure packages, the tour operators will pick up and drop you off at Montelago Village Resort.

Government Rates*: If you believe you qualify for a government rate, please make your reservations by calling the in-house reservation line. You will be required to show appropriate validation at check in to receive the discounted rate.

*You must provide appropriate government identification at the time of check-in for the government rate to be honored.

Please note that rates are quoted exclusive of applicable state and local taxes.  Individuals are responsible for all room, tax resort fee and incidentals.   Reservations made under this code have a 48 hour cancellation policy prior to the arrival date. 

Montelago Village Resort: $159 and up
The Montelago Village Resort is located minutes away from Loews Lake Las Vegas Resort via complimentary CEIC shuttle, inter-resort shuttle or a 15 minute walk. Each room is equipped with a kitchen, including glasses, dishes and cookware. The Mediterranean-themed Montelago Village offers exquisite shopping, dining, golfing, European-style gaming and lakeside recreation. At your convenience, the valet will call the inter-resort shuttle to take you the short distance to Loews Lake Las Vegas Resort.  CEIC will also be providing a complimentary shuttle, additional information will be emailed to you prior to arrival.

There are many additional hotels available in Henderson, NV. There will be complimentary shuttle to the Loews hotel that pick up and drop off from the Sunset Station hotel.
