- Once your application has been received and verified that all qualifications have been met, you will be issued a voucher number. This code will be your confirmation number. There is no cost to take the Phase I test at CEIC.
- Only those who have registered prior to April 21st, 2008 to take the Phase I test will be allowed. There will be no registering at CEIC.
- Those who have previously signed up for the EnCE program and are interested in taking the Phase I test while attending CEIC, will need to contact the Certification Coordinator via email so that they may be put on the list.
- Scores will take 2-3 weeks to grade depending on the amount of people taking the test.
- Be aware, once you start the EnCE test process you have committed to both tests. Those who pass the Phase I test will then be issued Phase II shortly after the first test is scored. This phase of the test includes a CDROM that has the test questions and the latest version of our software; also included is a dongle, which you will use to access the CDROM. Phase II will be mailed to the address provided on your application.
You have 60 days starting on the day you received the package to complete Phase II. There will be a 30-day extension that can be granted per the certification coordinators discretion. Once the maximum of 90 days is up the dongle used to access the test will time out and you will not be allowed to proceed. Should this happen, you will be required to return your dongle and testing materials. You will also be required to wait six months and restart the test from Phase I.
