EnCE® Exam
1. This year we will be offering the EnCE Phase I test to qualified CEIC attendees at no cost. Those who register for the
test will be able to select one of the available testing times during the conference.
2. Anyone interested in taking the Phase I test at CEIC must fill out an application and return it to the Certification
Coordinator via fax, email, or mail by April 26th, 2013. In addition, if you choose to fax or email your application you
must also mail the hard copy to the Certification Coordinator. Please check the box at the top of the first page of the
application pertaining to CEIC. If the box is not checked, you will not be registered to take the test.
Contact Info:
Once your application has been received and we have verified that all qualifications have been met, you will receive a confirmation email with further instructions for the testing session. There is no cost to take the EnCE test at CEIC.
Those who have previously signed up for the EnCE program and are interested in taking the Phase I test while attending CEIC, will need to contact the Certification Coordinator via email so that they may be put on the list.
Exam results will be made available at the conclusion of the exam
Be aware, once you start the EnCE test process you have committed to both tests. Those who pass the Phase I test will then be issued Phase II shortly after the first test is scored. This phase of the test includes a CD-ROM that has the test questions and the latest version of our software; also included is a dongle, which you will use to access the CD-ROM. Phase II will be mailed to the address provided on your application.
You have 60 days starting on the day you received the package to complete Phase II. There will be a 30-day extension that can be granted per the certification coordinators discretion. Once the maximum of 90 days is up the dongle used to access the test will time out and you will not be allowed to proceed. Should this happen, you will be required to return your dongle and testing materials. You will also be required to wait two months and restart the test from Phase I.
Registration for the EnCE Phase I test DOES NOT include enrollment in the EnCE Prep Workshop. The Prep Workshop is a separate lab session; attendees who want to take this course should select it during CEIC session enrollment. The EnCE Prep Workshop fills up fast-- register early to ensure a seat.
Please be sure to bring a picture identification card to the exam. You will not be admitted to the testing room without proof of ID.
