Program Changes: We work very hard to assemble a top-notch, cohesive, educational program; however, despite our best efforts, faculty and program schedules may change. Unanticipated or last minute changes to the program happen. Speakers may cancel without sufficient notice to allow us to engage a substitute. We do our best to keep these at a minimum. If you need to cancel your registration you may submit a request for a refund by emailing us at ceicconference@guidancesoftware.com. Please enter “CEIC Refund Request” in the subject line of your email.
Cancellation requests made before February 1, 2013 will be refunded 100% of the registration fee less a $100 processing fee. Cancellation requests made on or after February 1, 2013, will be refunded 50% of the registration fee and will incur a $100 processing charge. No refund requests will be accepted after March 29, 2013. Please allow Guidance Software, Inc four weeks to process your refund.
Substitutions are accepted until May 10. All substitutions are subject to a $25 handling fee. Please note that all sessions enrolled by the original attendee will be automatically transferred to the new attendee. Yes, CEIC is an International Conference. Attendees from Organizations and Law Enforcement agencies world wide attend our conference every year. Discounts are offered to all international delegates so please contact us for further information.

| 4. I’m nervous about registering and paying for the conference online.
Our secure registration process is simple and fast. You can create a password protected profile which allows you to update mailing information and accounting information from one location. This will also be the same location that you enroll for breakout sessions and where you can modify your selections accordingly. This system also gives you the option to securely pay for your registration fee by credit card.

| 5. Can my company be billed for the cost of the conference?
Only for government employees. Credit Card is the preferred method of payment but we will accept POs from government employees. In order to be admitted to the conference, payment must be received in full 30 days prior to the beginning of CEIC (April 1, 2013).

| 6. Do I have to pre-enroll for labs?
Yes. You will need to pre-enroll for labs. Enrollment will open following the release of the agenda. Enrollment is based on the date you register for the conference, so the first to register for CEIC are the first able to enroll for labs. You will receive notification via email announcing when you are able to enroll, which is an excellent reason to register now.

| 7. What will happen if I register late and miss out on session enrollment?
When you arrive at the conference you will have the option to put your name on a waiting list located outside every session room. It is our goal to get everyone into the sessions of their choice in the most comfortable and safest way possible.

Yes. Every session is CPE certified. You can complete the CPE form onsite and return it at the end of the conference.

Yes. Our E-Discovery Lecture Track is fully CLE certified. The agenda will note which labs are CLE certified.

Yes. There are a limited number of government rooms available so book immediately. There is a unique link for booking government rooms. The majority of all attendees state that the labs are the number one reason that they attend CEIC. We are limiting the number of registrations to CEIC 2013 to ensure that everyone can fit in their desired sessions. There will be numerous tracks, which will allow you to get into the sessions of your choice.

| 13. Session overviews and titles did not accurately reflect what was presented in past years.
A team of industry experts makes up the CEIC Speaker Panel who oversee topic and presenter selection. Part of their role is to ensure with the presenter that the title and the session abstract is what is actually presented. In many cases, the presenter has developed their own abstract to match their presentation.

| 14. I can’t attend all the sessions that I want to, is it possible to get the handouts from all?
Yes, all the lab handouts provided by presenters will be available on a to all conference attendees. Updated session materials will also be available at the print stations located in the conference hall.

| 15. Are there breaks in between sessions?
The schedule for CEIC 2013 has been set up with a minimum 15 minutes in between sessions to allow time to move to your next session. There will also be a morning and afternoon breaks to allow you plenty of time to visit the exhibit hall

| 16. I am an international delegate considering attending CEIC. My superiors require an official invitation so that international travel approval can be granted. Is it possible to request an invitation so that I can attend the conference?
We understand some International Governments and Organizations require an official invitation to send employees to our conference. A signed invitation on a company letterhead can be provided upon request but is not in any way considered sponsorship to the United States. You will be strictly invited to attend the CEIC conference from May 19th to May 22nd 2013. Please note that the participants will remain on their home country's payroll; therefore, continuing to bear all registration, travel and lodging costs and incidental expenses. If the participants wish to extend the stay for personal reasons, this would be at their own expense.

| 17. Do I need to bring a laptop to sessions?
Most sessions are set up with computers that are pre-loaded with materials related to the class in addition to cases that can be followed during the presentation. You may bring your own laptop for note taking purposes but session related materials will only be available on the provided computers.

| 18. Some of the sessions were vendor pitches.
We give strict guidelines to all of our presenters to create content aimed at further educating our attendees. Presenters are instructed to create educational materials and keep all topics to the pre-accepted guidelines. From time to time however, we do have vendors that ignore our guidelines and develop a sales/marketing geared presentation. For 2013 we have developed event stricter guidelines and with the help of our speaker committee.

| 19. Can I take the EnCE or EnCEP for free? Will they run out of room?
The EnCE® and EnCEP® exams will be offered onsite at no additional cost. The exams will be available at multiple times throughout the conference to allow more people to take the exam and for you to select the best test time for your schedule.
